What was listed as a run of five episodes in Sheffield was pulled from broadcast after just two had been shown.
Contestant Shanette revealed that she had received an email informing her of the situation, reading: "Just to let you know that due to legal reasons this week's Sheffield Come Dine with Me has been postponed. I will be back in touch when we have a rearranged transmission date."
Although these "legal reasons" were not directly disclosed in relation to the programme, in February 2019 it was reported in the news that contestant Paul Piddington had been a serial rapist between 2001 and 2015, and was jailed for 11 years and six months.
It's not believed the remaining three episodes were ever shown, and the existing two episodes that were broadcast are not available to view on the Channel 4 website.
