Finally, the protagonist sneaks out to a TABAC vending machine. A passerby even persuades him to buy a cigar. The smoker, feeling guilty, brings his wife some gifts. The woman... greets him with a cigarette. Bronislaw Zeman is an animator associated with Studio Filmów Rysunkowych in Bielsko-Biala, director of the Bolek and Lolek series (1968-86), Pampalini the Hunter (1977-80), Kuba i Sruba (2014). In addition to that, he also directed many animated films for adults: Ballast, Fair-play, Knock-down, The Study. In such films, Zeman was focused on male-female relationships; addictions to stimulants, money, things; the afterlife. His attitude was both witty and serious. He collaborated with graphic designer Janusz Stanny. In this animation, Zeman makes an allusion to films for children - the protagonist reads an article about the Bolek and Lolek series in a French newspaper.—unknown
