The One with the Flight Club
Alex_Hodgkinson25 July 2014
Due to recent events, Stoick the Vast has decided to put a ban on dragons flying. Hiccup disagrees with this and eventually, as always, goes against his father's wishes, creating a secret Dragon Flight Club to train for an Outcast attack. Not only does Hiccup to against Stoick's wishes, Stoick goes against Stoick's wishes, taking his dragon on night patrols because he too misses flying with his dragon.

A great episode to start off season two. It has some good humour, which is always nice to have, some great flying scenes, some lovely Hiccup and Toothless scenes and a relatively good cliff hanger. It's a very eventful episode too. So lots of things happen in it and you'll find yourself enjoying it, but there's not much development, other than the Riders preparing for an Outcast attack. The highlight for me is certainly the Hiccup and Toothless scenes near the beginning, though, as Toothless is adorable and these scenes are what made me decide to watch this series.

So it's a great episode, but I don't believe it is worthy of a nine. An eight fits the episode better. And expect some rather obvious references to 'Fight Club'.
