At New York socialite heir Nathan Cotchin's wedding, bride Dahlia Barnes suddenly runs away, only to be found by Chin having driven her car badly off the road. The tuxedo-clad corpse found in a hotel room, unknown to Nathan's party, is identified as party-crasher John Fitzpatrick, the man she saw just before fleeing the altar. Only he doesn't exist; it's recently paroled ex-con Brad Dickson, last jailed in Germany for the latest of serial cons he pulled with his sister, the real identity of Dahlia, yet they are not the only criminals. Meanwhile Danny worries about his Gabrielle disrupting doting daughter Grace's stability if she accepts temporary jobs out of state, while insisting that Steve is setting himself up for trouble with Catherine by agreeing to her joining fellow Navy veteran Billy Harrington's security firm. Adam and Kono find that they're not safe in Hong Kong, either.
