- Bill Gomez (James Perez) is a rural rancher and guardian of sisters Alexa (Nichole Estrellado) and Sarah (Lexi White). Out in the field, Gomez attempts to teach the girls how to shoot, but while Alexa proves to be a crack shot, innocent Sarah refuses to leave her books. That night, Alexa and Sarah settle in to watch "Thelma and Louise." Gomez announces he is going into town, but is confronted by Alexa who pleads with him not to go. She seems to know he has poor intentions, but he ignores her protests and pushes past. Gomez goes to a high-stakes, backroom poker game hosted by the local Chief of Police (Korbin Stein). Possessing a nearly unbeatable hand, Gomez goes "all in" with a massive bet. To his horror, the Chief reveals a straight-flush, taking the pot. The Chief politely excuses Gomez from the table, assuring him that he will collect on the debt in the morning - one way or another. Gomez races home and frantically begins packing suitcases and arms himself with a pistol. Becoming increasingly panicked, Alexa and Sarah follow him outside to the truck and the trio flees the ranch in the cover of darkness. No sooner do they make it to the road than they are stopped by the Chief and his cronies. Gomez pleads with the Chief, but he is executed after the Chief tells him he will take his debt out on the girls. As Alexa is dragged to the ground, Sarah shoots the other henchman with Gomez's pistol. The Chief and his other man fire on Sarah, but Alexa uses the distraction to take down the crony and uses his weapon to kill him and shoot the Chief through the knee. The Chief pleads for his life, but Alexa dispatches him the same way he did Gomez. As the dust clears, the girls discuss what to do. They agree they have no choice but to run. Changing their names to "Thelma" and "Louise," they drive off into the sunrise.
