- The trio agree to help Wesley bring his prize discovery, a Loxley Lozenge, back to his workshop. However, towing it home isn't easy and isn't helped by Clegg's phobia of driving.
- Having been thrown out of the cafe by Ivy for discussing their childhood activity of forcing Foggy to eat earwigs, the trio wander around the town, eventually meeting Wesley coming out of his workshop. They agree to help Wesley with his latest project, which he reveals to the trio in a frenzy of excitement in the pub - he's found the remains of an abandoned Loxley Lozenge in a barn in the countryside. After convincing Foggy that the Loxley Lozenge is a rare old motor car, and not a 'vintage cough sweet', the trio journey to the barn in Wesley's van. The car turns out to have little more than the chassis intact, so a nearby abandoned sofa is rigged to the vehicle so it can be steered during the tow home. Unfortunately, it's not rigged quite securely enough, and while Wesley is heading in one direction in his van, towing the Loxley Lozenge, the trio are soon heading in another direction on board their sofa, much to the bemusement of an artist attempting to capture the scenic countryside in watercolours.
