April and Matthew gets the results of their "compatibility test" from a priest. They're 90 percent compatible, Matthew is still concerned about the way in which they aren't equal. April thinks he's talking about their salaries and suggests they get a joint checking account. He says they need to have sex (because he's still a virgin).
Cristina is going to pass on seeing Meredith's 3D printer results because she has other things to work on.
Bailey and Jo talk a patient, a food critic, through the procedure in which they're going to replace a part of his esophagus that has cancer with a part of his colon. Hunt's girlfriend Emma is interviewing for a job at the hospital. Callie is interviewing her.
Everyone is excited to see what Meredith's 3D printer has created. It's a fork. No one is particularly impressed, but Meredith says it's just the first step toward portal veins for patients. Derek, meanwhile, was focused on the 3D printer tech's eye twitch.
Meredith shows Webber her fork and he says her mother would be proud. She tells him to doing his walking laps, and his neighbor is urging him to do the same.
Derek and Jackson tell 3D printer guy that Derek could fix his twitch with a minimally invasive procedure. He doesn't seem interested.

Bailey gets ready for surgery and is surprised to see Ben, who is back to his old job as an anesthesiologist. Bailey, meanwhile, is apparently going through some OCD kind of stuff and, after precisely arranging her instruments, tells Jo to go rescrub.
April asks Arizona how she can resist having sex with Matthew, and she asks Arizona how she resisted having sex with Leah. Arizona says she didn't resist. April leaves.
Callie starts asking Emma what feeds her soul. Then she asks how interested she is in having kids. Emma knows that these questions are beyond the realm of typical job interview questions, but goes along. Hunt pokes his head in the room and Callie says it's going great, giving him an excited thumbs up.
Shane, after reading some of the documentation on Meredith's 3D printer, comes to Cristina with the idea of 3D printing a new conduit for her patient, Nathan. She says it's too experimental, but he asks if she'll consider it if he does all the legwork with the FDA. She says yes.
April finds Matthew outside the hospital and tells him she wants it to "be right" the first time they have sex. He says it's "really important" to him that they have sex soon, and she agrees to do it.
Bailey is barking out orders and getting impatient with Jo in surgery. Ben notices something isn't right and Bailey has another semi-blackout-type episode before catching herself. Ben talks her through calming down.
Cristina comes over to the 3D printer, where Stephanie is standing guard as it is printing something for Meredith. Cristina asks what would happen if it was paused and just started over. Stephanie says it would mess Meredith up. Cristina says, "Thanks," and leaves.
Derek doesn't like the way Jackson isn't letting Leah handle some simple procedures on his patient. Jackson says he knows Leah is "good," but he's "better." Derek reminds Jackson that Sloan once thought he was better than Jackson and says he needs to embrace teaching the younger surgeons.
In Will's surgery, Meredith and Alex disagree about skipping one of the tumors. Meredith thinks they should move on to some others to have easier access to the big one. Alex thinks they should get it now, but Meredith, as the lead surgeon, makes the call.

Bailey and Jo go to confirm that their procedure was successful and that there is no leak. It passes the first test but Baliey asks for another test. The second test looks good, as well, but Bailey has another little episode and says there's a leak. She asks Ben to confirm, and he backs her up.
Harvey, the 3D printer tech, is amazed that his twitch is gone after Derek did the surgery. Derek is happy, then, to see Jackson let Leah do a couple of procedures.

She says that all the doctors there care too much about him and will support him if she were to ever break his heart and she'd just be "the bitch" who did it. She says she isn't planning to break his heart, but she says she can't risk it. She worked with her ex-husband and it didn't end well. She starts to walk away and asks Hunt not to break her heart.
Alex tells Will and his mother about the surgery, which wasn't completed and could mean another surgery and more time on the peds floor, where Will isn't happy.
Alex apologizes to Meredith but says they made the right call. She still insists she could have gotten the tumor. Cristina asks about the printer, which Meredith says is hers. Cristina, like Shane earlier, says it's "the hospital's," and tells Meredith that she could use it to save a child right away. Meredith abruptly and impatiently tells her to submit a proposal to the board. After Cristina walks away, Alex asks Meredith if her whole thing in surgery was about trying to prove she isn't "a lousy doctor." Meredith denies it.
Webber excitedly tells Callie about how he saved his neighbor. He tells her while going for a walk around the floor.
