Toilet Prayers is Sam Platizky's directorial debut.
Sam wrote Toilet Prayers for two reasons: He caught himself praying "for a win" in a bathroom at work after a particularly difficult week & he wanted to see actors Isaac Platizky & Dan Gregory act in something together.
After the second cut, Sam's hard drive crashed leaving only a copy of the 2nd cut. The final product does not have finalized audio or color, and the effect of seeing both actors in the bathroom at the same time was not final.
DP and Sound Recordist, Joey Mosca, hates this product because he was not able to work on the audio in post.
Toilet Prayers was written as part of a trilogy of shorts meant to bridge the gap between "Red Scare" and "Lost & Found," two other projects the crew was working on. As of release, only Toilet Prayers and "Tell Me Something Good" have been finished. The third short, The Dare, remains in Pre Production.
