We have reviews of movies, restaurants, hotels, just about any business or piece of art. Why not then reviews of experiences? Critic Forrest MacNeil and the team at Review tackle this by reviewing everyday experiences. In this episode they review stealing, addiction and the prom.
I'd heard great things but was still largely unprepared for what was to come. After a slowish start as we see Review's premise and method, things get hilarious very quickly. Largely absurdist humour in the vein of Monty Python with some great skits and physical comedy.
The fact that the three reviews are not independent also makes for some great comedy as the plot meshes sub-plots from the three different reviews together. The running addiction joke is awesome.
Looking forward to the remainder of the series.
