Storyline

Danny investigates the death of a young girl who from a video was pushed off the subway platform by a man. Danny learns the man is homeless and mentally challenged. He talks to people who knows him who says he's not violent. He finds him and when questioned the man says he tried to help her. Danny takes another look at the video and sees that the girl was trying to jump and the man tried to stop her. Danny goes to her parents who gives him her computer and upon checking learns that someone was harassing her. Frank has to deal with a newly appointed inspector general. And their first point of contention involves Jamie's partner Jenko. She arrests a thief and gives a sworn statement of what happened but a video surfaces that reveals her accounting of the events was not what is shown on the video. And there are those who want Jenko off the force. Frank finds himself in the middle. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

The model of an inspector general
27 November 2017 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

Bebe Neuwirth makes the first of several appearances as the NYPD's inspector general on the job to catch bad cops.

When you have a job like that the folks who put you there want to see results. Will Estes and his new partner Vanessa Ray apprehend a pair of fleeing felons. Unfortunately some eager good citizen videotapes Vanessa Ray and her account of the incident didn't square with the video.

So the eager beaver Neuwirth wants to can her and maybe bring perjury charges. It's a good thing that Tom Selleck's cool head prevails

Donnie Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez catch a case of a young Asian American girl being pushed on a train platform by a homeless man. Only first impression is wrong. The two get the real and most tragic story.

One not to miss.
