A majority of the film is lit with a single flashlight.
There were multiple ideas of how to end the movie. The principle photography was done without knowledge of what the ending would be. During the first day, Bex Taylor-Klaus improvised the moment with the lighter, which then was used as a bookend for what is now the conclusion (decided on that morning).
