Do you know what? You go on about mates. If you were really a mate, you'd be happy for me. All you care about is yourself.

  [Carmen opens her bedroom door] 

  Carmen : Lily, I am not the one who's just turned up, "Oh, by the way, I'm leaving and didn't bother to tell you."

  Lily : I am not the one that threw a present back in your face.

  Carmen : I didn't.

  Lily : Gave it to Floss, then, same thing.

  Carmen : Lily, I didn't give it to Floss.

  Lily : Why do you think I bought you that charm? Because it's me that'll be forgotten, Carmen.

  Carmen : Lily, I didn't give it to Floss.

  Lily : She told me! I don't care, she can have it. Have a nice life, enjoy your travelling, I hope it makes you really happy.

  Carmen : Why do you think I make all these plans about travelling? I don't even know if that is what I want to do.

  Lily : You go on about it enough.

  Carmen : Yeah. So I can be the one that's moving away, instead of everyone else moving away from me, because that's what happens, isn't it? Everyone leaves.

  Lily : Now you're just feeling sorry for yourself. It's you that's pushing people away.

  Carmen : So you are saying I pushed my mum away?

  Lily : No, you know I didn't mean that.

  Carmen : I've never pushed anyone away and you know that, people just move on and find something better than me, which is exactly what you've done.

  Lily : It's not better. It's just next.

  Carmen : Look, Lily, I never gave it to Floss, OK? She made me.

  Lily : Yeah, right. Look at the size of her! What did she do, kick you in the shins?

  Carmen : No. She just saw me do something. Look, I was upset... and I kicked the ball and I bust the window.

  Lily : Wait, Johnny's window?

  Carmen : Floss saw. She said if I gave her the bracelet, then she wouldn't tell anyone.

  Lily : Bailey was arrested. You watched the police take him away.

  Carmen : Lily, I was upset.

  Lily : Arrested, Carmen. And you let that happen?

  Carmen : Fine!

  [Walks out the room and makes her way downstairs] 

  Lily : What are you doing now?

  [Follows Carmen] 

  Carmen : [Cuts to the office where Mike and May-Li are]  Mike, take me to the police station. I smashed the window.

  Mike : Wait, slow down.

  Lily : Don't let her go, this is stupid.

  Carmen : Haven't you got packing to do? If you don't take me, I'm going to walk.

  Lily : At least let me come with you.

  Carmen : No, thanks!

  [Leaves the house] 

  Mike : I'll go. Carmen wait.

  [Leaves the house too] 

  May-Li : She's just upset that you're leaving.
