This is one of my favorite songs ever and this was a really good music video. I'm surprised how controversial it was at the time as it is not really all that sexy or revealing.

Brief introduction: this clip is the classic one directed by Herb Ritts which features Helena Christensen along with Isaak, the one heavily played on MTV and similar channels to net be confused with David Lynch version which only presents Isaak and band playing with some scenes from "Wild at Heart" (1990).

Ritts version is the most recognized and the better one as well. Has to be the hottest clip of all time, it's there for all tastes and the song is a pure delicacy to our ears. Clip concept: Chris Isaak and Helena Christensen as a couple making love on a desert island. Perfect, right? The elements that stays with you: the breaking waves, the sand, those immense clouds, black and white cinematography, the extremely hot couple with the girl teasing Isaak and us while covering her breasts, and Chris muttering/lip synching the song while they're always about to kiss (and they don't, actually except for one brief second and it's a neck kiss). A solid proof that less is always more. Seduction, fantasy and the idea of sex is all there without recurring to excess or exploitation like today's clips tend to throw.

Remember this masterpiece from 1991 as it got plenty of showings on "VH1" and even "MTV" as not only did the song lyrics capture your mind and heart the scenes and eye candy of the video made you feel so in the mood with intimate joy you as a young boy or man loved the look of a beautiful woman! The model dark haired or even jet black hair colored model stole the show of this video as her moves and grace of beauty are what glues you in and the way she removes her clothes in a seductive way is so stunning plus the black bra she sported was so sexy! The video message and theme is just a showcase of a couple doing love making in a very sexual way on a deserted beach! Overall one of the best music videos made very sexy and great eye candy beauty for it's time of 1991 now an intimate classic.
