- Bailey is again going through some obsessive-compulsive stuff, and Ben is starting to notice. Callie has apparently moved back in but Arizona is sleeping on the couch.
Hunt's girlfriend Emma is working on a grant proposal in one of the hospital's conference rooms, and Cristina doesn't seem to like watching the two together. Callie and April think it's sweet.
Donna Kaufman, a patient of Meredith's, has a tumor in her pancreas and it's too advanced to remove. All they can do is do something to remove the pain.
Cristina and Alex are working on a baby with a heart condition. She complains to Alex about Hunt's girlfriend being there, and says she needs to have sex. Shane walks in and overhears the rest of the conversation when Alex suggests that Cristina get a "human sex toy." Shane tells Cristina that conduit they made with the 3-D printer is contaminated. Cristina goes to Alex, who is annoyed that she had him keep his patient hanging on for a procedure that isn't going to work.
Hunt and Arizona work on a 6-year-old girl named Emma who was hit by a car while riding her scooter. She was brought in by a babysitter.
In surgery, Leah asks Arizona if she's definitely getting back together with Callie. Arizona says they're giving it a chance and urges Leah not to wait around for the outcome.
Stephanie overhears Donna telling a woman that she wants to find a woman to be with her "very special friend" Stan after she's gone.
Ben talks to Derek about Bailey's apparent OCD and says he's not sure she's handling it, noting that Bailey kept a patient under for probably an hour longer than needed. Derek stops Ben that he can't hear any more because he's on the board of the hospital. He'd have to report it.
Cristina and Shane wait for an elevator and he lets her know he's "available" if she's in need of getting her "ya-yas" out.
Meredith comes into the conference room and tries one of the muffins that Hunt's girlfriend has made and brought in. She gets them talking about spending Thanksgiving together and winds up inviting them to her house so they can cook together.
Meredith gives Stephanie some attitude, which the other interns notice. After Meredith is gone, Stephanie tells them about how she'd gotten Meredith kicked off her own surgery. Shane comes and tells Stephanie that Cristina needs the 3-D printer for the day because of a "dying baby." Stephanie isn't pleased.
Webber is feeling strong and Meredith invites him to Thanksgiving.
Arizona comes clean to Callie about the fact that she was "with someone" while they were separated, saying she wants to start over with a clean slate. She asks Callie if she has any questions, and Callie asks if it was more than once, twice, 10 times. The answer is yes to all of them and Callie seems OK when Arizona tells her it's definitely over.
Meredith is mad at Stephanie again when Stephanie tells her Cristina and Shane are using the printer again.
Meredith asks Hunt about who they should invite to Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Stephanie gives Leah a pep talk after seeing her bummed out in the stairwell.
Hunt asks Cristina about her Thanksgiving plans and says she's OK with hearing about him spending the day with Emma. Cristina thinks Emma and Hunt are having the holiday alone.
Leah updates the babysitter on the 6-year-old girl's condition and assures her the surgeons are going to take care of it. The babysitter is worried she's going to get fired. She blames herself "for getting so attached."
Stephanie sweet talks Jackson into giving up his claim on an O.R. so that Meredith can use it. Then she tells him that April is inviting her to her wedding, with a "plus-one." April had asked Stephanie for her address earlier, but none of the other interns said they were asked for theirs.
Stephanie overhears Donna and her husband talking about finding a woman for their friend Stan. Now she's even more confused.
Hunt and Derek are now talking with Ben about his claim that Bailey was "performing unnecessary procedures" due to this apparent onset of OCD. Hunt says he needs to take Bailey off the floor until she has things under control.
Stephanie talks to Donna's husband, who admits that he's helping find a friend for Stan, Donna's lover.
Ben tells Bailey about his conversation with Hunt and Derek. She is livid.
Meredith confronts Cristina about taking over the 3-D printer, and Cristina shows her Baby Nathan in hopes of getting Meredith's sympathy, but it backfires. Meredith gets annoyed that Cristina thinks she'll get all mushy seeing a baby, and she tells Cristina that her plan to do "something flashy" with the equipment has failed and she just can't deal with it.
Hunt admits to Emma that there are about 16 people coming to Thanksgiving now. She's annoyed at first, but then seems OK with it. He then suggests inviting Cristina, and she's fine with that, too.
Hunt comes to Meredith and asks her to take over Bailey surgeries for the day.
Callie walks Leah through helping with surgery. It goes wrong and when Arizona asks Callie to give Leah a moment to calm down, Callie realizes that "10-plus times" was Leah. She's upset.
Leah and Arizona argue over Callie finding out about their fling.
Jackson asks April about why Stephanie is getting her own invitation to the wedding. April admits that she didn't want to send Jackson an invitation in order to avoid rubbing it in Matthew's face. He says he shouldn't be at the wedding. She says she needs his blessing, and he tells her she has it but he shouldn't be there.
Stephanie watches as Stan shows up and Donna's husband helps him through the emotions of Donna's effort to find him a woman to "replace" her.
Webber is undergoing a stress test, walking on a treadmill and demanding that Jo turn up the speed so he can show how strong he is. He starts cranking up the speed himself and falls off the treadmill.
Hunt confronts Bailey before starting surgery and she wants to delay the conversation until she's done with surgery. Bailey refuses to leave, so Hunt asks Meredith to move a couple of Bailey's instruments just an inch or two, and Bailey gets angry while putting them back in place. She realizes her problem, tears up and leaves the room.
Webber has a broken rib.
Arizona tells the 6-year-old girl's parents, who have shown up, while the babysitter waits outside next to Leah.
Jackson tells Stephanie that they don't need to go to April's wedding, saying it's "simpler" if they don't go. She tells him about the patient, her husband and Stan, Donna's new lover. She tells him that's what it looks like when people are over each other. Jackson tells her he's simply not going because April is neurotic and he and Matthew are huggers. He assures her that he and April are over.
Meredith confronts Cristina again about the printer and Cristina is apologetic but says they have to try one more time and it won't be available until 3 a.m. Meredith says that's not acceptable and Shane interject, telling Meredith that he had to force Cristina into trying the printer because Cristina was worried about Meredith. He tells Meredith that she is the one who made it personal, emotional and about their friendship. "If it was about the work, you would've gone to the chief of surgery, but you know what he would have said," he yells at her. "You'll get the printer tomorrow, Dr. Grey."
He apologizes to Cristina in case it was out of line. She kisses him.
Callie gives Arizona a hard time about Leah, but Arizona doesn't take it. She tells Callie she can't keep apologizing and that Callie can't keep being the victim.
Ben and Bailey argue at home about whose fault it is that she's been taken off work. She throws down a chair, then comes back to pick it up.
Jo tells Alex to go to Meredith's for Thanksgiving and she'll stay with the other interns to watch Webber. They decide to get take-out chicken.
Meredith complains to Derek about Cristina being "mean" to her. Hunt comes over and tells Meredith she can invite Cristina to Thanksgiving if she wants to. Meredith doesn't seem interested. Cristina comes over and Hunt and Derek make quick exits. Meredith realizes she's alone with Cristina and walks away.
