Discussing The Town That Dreaded Sundown
Small Town Lawman with Andrew Prine (2013)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
Very good interview with character actor Andrew Prine and his work on the cult classic THE TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN. The interview lasts around 10-minutes and the actor talks about the original screenplay, getting the park, what it was like working with the likes of Ben Johnson and there's another story on how he wrote the ending for the picture. If you're a fan of the movie then there's no doubt that you're going to enjoy the interview because Prine does a very good job at giving you a good idea of what it was like filming on such a low budget. He also talks about what it was like being a character actor back in the day when there were so many small movies available for an actor. He also jokes on what it's like having so many stations now days where some of the embarrassing pictures can be played. Overall he seems happy with this film and there's no doubt he's enjoying talking about it.
