Very good doco

Warning: Spoilers
I had never heard other name Keifer Sykes so was pretty sure he didn't make the NBA but that's not what this movie is about. Growing up in Canada/Australia I have no idea what it's like to go about your daily life and there to be a chance you might get shot. At one point he says when his phone rings he gets really scared because he doesn't know if something bad has happened. What a scary way to live. Basketball is secondary in this doco and the human element is amazing. I hope this kid makes millions of dollars at whatever he does and takes care of his family because he deserves it. A tremendous person who will be successful in whatever he does.

Keifer much respect

Amazing to see this young man so many different obstacles. Truly an inspiration for the world. I didn't know much about Keifer Sykes before watching this documentary. The documentary captured the rawness of Chicago, the difficulties that these young kids experience on the daily. It aches tremendously to know that many of these kids don't have the proper support to handle such traumatic experiences. Regardless of age the trauma that Keifer, Marty & Coach Shake suffered is more than enough to make any individual give up hope. To see that Keifer not only pushed through adversity after adversity & is now thriving as a professional basketball player is motivation at it's finest. Keep going Keifer!
