Review of "Uncommitted"
cmaryannyarram26 March 2016
While I admire the attempt to grapple with eternal question of what makes a relationship authentic in the movie, "Uncommitted", I felt that some parts of it were an honest exploration of relationships while others parts were stereotypical images and solutions. Relationships are complicated partnerships only if the foundations of who we individually are is at a clash. The heart of the movie forces the viewer to examine why they are in a relationship. Are you in a relationship because you have been in it for so long that compromising on who are becomes a virtue? And if so, how long can you keep up the charade? Are you in a relationship because it's a financially and socially convenient? Has it been worth it?

However, the movie lacked the emotional vulnerability and mutual submission --- two key elements that can make a relationship endearing.
