Excellent

Wow! After all the build up this episode had to deliver, and it certainly does.

With action galore, and a superb twist at the end, this is definitely an example of how good this series can be when on top form.

GREAT, but..

Warning: Spoilers
SPOILERS

This episode was terrific EXCEPT for the promo of the episode showed Victoria getting arrested when that turned out just to be a summary of the plan. This was disappointing in many ways. STILL the episode was brilliant and left you hanging for dear life!

Emily WAS shot, and the inclusion of Lydia was terrific to what ultimately foiled her plan. Sara also set up Emily being shot by Daniel which was unexpected, but hopefully will be good in the future. Either way, It will be exciting to see what happens in January, and March-May! 10/10

plays like a season finale, complete with cliff-hanger

The thrills and spills continue unabated and there is never any lack of excitement. And everybody's here, past characters back in attendance.

This episode has the long-awaited wedding. I thought it was gonna be around ep. 14 again, but, in this season, the climactic scene showed at the beginning, occurs sooner.

None of you will be disappointed by the event. As can be expected, their shaky plan doesn't go smoothly. I won't blab anything here, watch for yourself.

There is a line which I will highlight, because it kind of puts into words why I don't go for Emily as a heroine. Spoken by Victoria, "But you're nothing but a predator. An empty shell who seeks to wreak havoc. That's it." That is, of course, not just it. Do not understand me wrong. But what Emily does, makes her the very symbol of deceit and duplicity herself. And it is clearly affecting her. Well, of course, you'd scoff. But I mean, in a most unattractive way. She's an anti- heroine.

A loose thought...:

Nolan has completely lost his zing. This whole thing with Patrick took the original fun out of the character, and Gabriel Mann delivers the lines without the former quirky aplomb. Something wrong there. Nowadays it's Henry Czerny, as Conrad, who delivers the punchlines as he skirmishes with worthy opponent Victoria.

The big question: Now the cat's mostly out of the bag. Not in the finer detail, but there is not going to be room for subterfuge anymore. WHERE TO FROM HERE? (seeing that there is just more than one-and-half season left)
