Terrific episode where Frank, upset with the stop and frisk ruling by a judge, nonetheless tells the officers that they have to obey under the law. How he shows the wheelchair bound mayor what is doing was well done and how he asks for his support was memorable. The story evolved around a police officer who hesitated in stopping a man he thought had a gun only to have the guy shoot his partner.
The other story dealt with Danny's friend who moves back to Florida with his wife. Soon, Danny is caught up when it's revealed that the guy belongs to the mob. It is the belief that Danny can best smoke him out.
Knowing that the guy (Mickey) is in for it when the mob frees him from jail, Danny warns Mickey who is soon taken hostage by the gang and prepared for mob execution. Danny, as always, saves the day, but it is certainly a harrowing experience and a reminder that there are no friends among gangsters.
