Bar expert John Green heads to Oxford Inn in Royal Oak, Michigan to help struggling owner Bob and his wife Mary get back on the path to success. After Bob's battle with cancer and a huge loss of business, Bob and Mary built an additional bar onto their already shabby restaurant in hopes of attracting more clients but with no luck.

Owner Lori was a bartender at Mulligan's before becoming its sole owner. When she took over the bar, business was booming. Unfortunately that success was short-lived due to a downturn in the economy, bad blood with the previous managers, big changes to the menu and a lowering of the pour count. If ever there was somewhere that needed a "do-over" it's Mulligan's. When John Green shows up he sees inexperienced bartenders, no management structure, steak being nuked in the microwave and laziness that makes his head spin. Extensive bar training, a major revamping of the cocktail & food menu and a makeover that brings tears to the owner's eyes is exactly what Mulligan's needed to get OFF THE ROCKS!
