Can't bring myself to be as rude as the other review with 'fat old lady' (her age and sex are irrelevant!), but there are some issues with historical fact, regarding food.
I still thoroughly enjoyed the series, and anything that may inspire one person to get online and check out some facts regarding culinary history, is one person who may discover a passion for history, and I'm all for that.
Ignore misogynistic ageism, and make make your own mind up.
