Unbelievably scary
bluejays-8804511 February 2022
Outlast Whistleblower had so many interesting moments and characters it really should have been its own full length game. Outlast was already disturbing but Whistleblower ups the ante with terrifying scenes across the board. Eddie Gluskin, a former serial killer turned reality-detached mass murderer, is fitting as the game's 'final boss' and his dialogue with Waylon is disturbing. Whistleblower also introduces some fun lore which perfectly complements the original story.

Excellent game. Highly recommend playing or watching the playthroughs on youtube.

Unforgettable experience

This is the perfect dlc, good atmosphere even better setting than the main game. The characters are so unique, writing is perfect, I'm so surprised how would a game get a storyline like this. Graphics and human animations are amazing as well, the gameplay is enjoyable and easy to learn. This is a must play game! Trust me, a masterpiece.

As excellent as Outlast

I love this game as much as the original game. It has everything that Outlast has. Scary characters, especially Eddie Gluskin. Great atmosphere and great music. I like that it is taking place both before, below and after Outlast. I have one negative objection and that is the game is to short in my opinion. They should have kept the same lenght as in the original game which was a very good lenght. But it is not a huge mistake so that the score is lowered.

I can't believe this was only a DLC, absolutely incredible! The characters, atmosphere, cut-scenes, and voice acting are brilliant. A hug respect to the audio designer here, the soundtracks are well-made and terrifying.

A super horror game after outlast
ashishdass10003 October 2014
We play as Waylon Park (the one who sends us the e-mail to investigate mount massive asylum) , then billy(walrider - the ghost of outer world) gets out of control and mentally ill people go out of control and started killing everyone to eat them , after this a psycho wants to marry us further in the game , the chase is awesome and scary , for a horror game , i have never played any game like it , so scary i even jumped of my seat in both outlast and outlast whistleblower . Just play if you have courage and get ready to get a heart attack! Scariest game ever. The only concern was that the Whistleblower was very short as compared to the actual game. But really met up with the expectations.

Great DLC Story to an already Perfect Horror game.
Rclarke11519 February 2019
If you thought Red Barrels' Outlast couldn't get anymore better, they've created a bonus story that put you in the shoes of Waylon Park. a software consultant working at the facility and the man who contacted various journalists (Including Miles Upshur). He got caught and gets thrown into the chaos. You have to find a way to escape the hospital and get back to your family. The tension and atmosphere is better than before. The graphic violence apparently has been turned up to 11 because boy, is it violent than before. In this DLC story, you'll get to explore new areas you haven't been to before, learn more backstory, and get to meet some new and familiar faces.

This bonus story add-on will definitely will not disappoint you if you're a massive horror fan, or if you loved the original story of Outlast.
