- Claire(Laura Burnett) is an ex prosecutor who became blind 15 years ago. She is greeted by a kind new next door neighbor Bobby (Monti Washington) who helps her with her groceries. She goes about her daily routine at home and opens the blinds, revealing a nefarious figure outside. She unknowingly opens the sliding door letting him in and continues to take a shower. He attacks and handcuffs her and toys with her psychologically. Bobby then proceeds to confront her regarding George Wallace, a black man that she put on death row for the murder and sexual assault of a young boy. Through his interrogation to uncover the reason she put an innocent man away and withheld evidence to do it, he gets her to break. Claire then reveals the truth. She discovers that Bobby is George's son and has spent years proving his innocence though DNA. This short shows the prosecutions desire for justice for the family and the heartbreaking consequences for all involved in a wrongful conviction. This dramatic thriller takes a look into the choices we make through Claire's "blind" actions to get a conviction, and their devastating effect on the defendant and his family.—Anonymous
