the Perfume is kinda stale

Sadly, I have to concur with my German colleague, the only other reviewer here. Though I wouldn't put Britney down just yet, she's going to deliver some wham! again, but this is not it. Truly, 'cringeworthy' does sum it up, the lyrics sound forced and lacks any appeal. Britney also seems doomed in her quest to be her lover's one and only, not that it's a Goof, maybe just meant to be a sad portrayal, makes it very arty, though unusual for a (past) Winner like super-hot (former) teen idol Britney to have to sing about a pathetic attempt of regaining a relationship by eliminating a rival through such petty ways. She wants her to smell her perfume on him. Doesn't say much for the song, wouldn't appeal to the majority of fans out there.

Embarrassing for the most part

Warning: Spoilers
"Perfume" is the music video for Britney Spears' song with the same name from 2 years ago. I think Spears is now twice the age she was when she started in the music industry and sadly, looking at this one here, not really going strong anymore. The lyrics are truly cringeworthy I must say and the story does not feel authentic. It's about a man who has apparently 2 girlfriends, one of them being Spears, and the hotter one being played by Alandrea Martin. The good thing is that Spears actually has a couple moments where she shines with her voice and comes close to past glory, but it's just a fairly pretentious little video, especially because it seems to take itself so seriously and even poses as a "real" film. I hope Britney can step things up again in the future. This one here is not worth the watch.
