Loser kindness
olastensson1310 March 2014
The divorced woman of Finnish heritage. Her children doesn't like her much, her co-workers at hospital are not fond of her and the patients ungrateful. A sad lady who meets this man who has been married four times and have countless of children in different ages.

But the story takes another path. Friendship can be unexpected and so does one of the most hated words today (or yesterday) which is solidarity.

No deep thoughts here and no deep feelings. Not for audiences anyway, but heart-warming in the good not sentimental sense. Swedish countryside according to prejudice. Nice prejudice.

Unusual and heart-warming slice of life comedy
jabakke-141926 January 2019
The film is a heart-warming and lovely little comedy centered around Disa, mother of two children and a kind, but frustrated and awkward nurse in her 40-ties working night shifts at the local hospital. She´s struggling with her self esteem in general and how to adapt to her new situation, recently divorced, having moved to a new town in the Swedish countryside where she doesn´t know anyone.

The film handles many themes, among others unexpected friendships and developing your self-esteem. It´s a remarkably honest, simple, warm and unsentimental film, free of pretentions and packed with wonderful situational comedy. It should appeal to anyone who enjoys films with lots of situational comedy and a bunch of unusual characters.
