Cut to Sookie and Bill lying together after sex. She asks him about Sophie-Anne sending Bill to find her. He tells her the plan had been to "breed" Sookie. Bill tells her she reminds him what it felt like to have a human heart but it was nothing more than a memory. He feels like he only had "darkness" to give her in return, but Sookie says she felt love.
We see Lafayette and Lettie Mae digging in the yard. Daniels has been called and apologizes to the homeowners for his wife's "issues." Lafayette assures Daniels that they are sober. James shows up and Lettie Mae convinces Daniels to come with her for a vision to see Tara. Daniels reluctantly agrees. In the vision Tara brings them into the house. IT is a scene from Tara's childhood and we see that she witnessed her father abusing Lettie Mae.
Bridget makes reference to children and Hoyt seems pretty clear he's not exactly thrilled about the prospect. The couple begins to argue as Jason gets a text from Violet showing that she has Adilyn, Wade, and Jessica. She gives him an address and tells him to hurry. Jason leaves and Bridget demands to go with him, not wanting to be around Hoyt anymore.
Gus Jr. tells Eric and Pam his plan is to turn Sarah's blood into a treatment, rather than a cure. That way they will be able to earn more profit. He warns them they are to say nothing about Sarah to anybody. They agree.
Inside the home Jason is immediately grabbed by a furious Violet. She brings him to the torture room and ties him up next to Jessica, Adilyn and Wade. She proceeds to describe the order and method by which she will kill them. But while she monologues Hoyt sneaks in behind Violet and shoots her with a silver bullet. She explodes in spectacular fashion.
Back in the Tara vision/flashback, we see the young Tara grab her father's gun. She goes into the living room where her parents are fighting and points the gun at her father. But instead of pulling the trigger she goes into the yard and buries the weapon. Tara's father gets into his car and leaves. Adult Tara apologizes to Lettie Mae for not pulling the trigger and tells her she was a good mother. The two women apologize and Tara asks her mother to let her go. Tara vanishes.

Eric arrives at Sookie's place. She sees that he's healed and she tells him that Bill is sick, adding that his illness is accelerating at a crazy rate. Eric says he'll be back the following night. Sookie is pissed and runs to her home.
Jason drives Jessica home. They discuss their relationship and she reflects on all the times he gave her just what she needed. It is a pleasant discussion where they basically agree theirs shouldn't be a romantic relationship. She decides to call what they have a "beautiful friendship." Jason agrees.
Sookie drives to Fangtasia looking for Eric. She's brought in to where Gus Jr., Eric and Pam are meeting. Gus Jr. asks who Sookie is and Eric dismisses her as a "just another fang-banger." Gus Jr. is about to have her killed when Eric speaks up. He is able to protect Sookie by telling Gus Jr. that her brother is a cop, and killing her would send him after them. He then pretends to glamour Sookie, she plays along and at the same time listens to Gus Jr.'s thoughts. He is suspicious of them, but doesn't think Eric would cross him "because of what's in the basement."
Hoyts joins Jason at the bar at Bellefleur's. Hoyt asks about Jessica and Jason says she's on the market. Hoyt can't get Jessica out of his mind. Jason tells him about Bill dying and that weighing on Jessica's mind. Hoyt says he feels bad for her as he always liked vampire Bill.
In the car Sookie reflects on Gus Jr's thoughts and turns back to Fangtasia.
Hoyt goes to see Jessica. He's brought some of his blood for Bill since he's negitive of the virus. He talks about the impact of losing a parent, something she feels like she can relate to with Bill so near to death. He's being very sweet, and the two seem to be falling for each other all over again.
Sookie uses her light to break into the basement from a back alley. She finds Sarah and removes her gag allowing her to talk. Sarah wants her to get her out of there before she'll tell her anything about the cure. She starts her messiah talk again and Sookie re-gags her. Sookie reads Sarah's mind and figures out how she's a cure and sees Eric's virus leaving him. Sookie leaves Sarah there to her fate and returns to Bill's. Sookie tells Jessica there is a cure and they go to wake up Bill. He has a vision of Sookie craddling a baby in her arms and singing softly to it in the daylight. As he walks up behind her he sees there's a black void where the baby should be. Sookie wakes him and tells him there's a cure.
Gus Jr. tells Eric and Pam he's leaving for Dallas. He warns them not to do anything stupid and says he's leaving behind some of his men. Eric brings Pam downstairs, saying he wants to bring some of Sara's blood to Bill. At this moment Bill, Jessica and Sookie walk into the basement. Jessica reminds Sarah who she is and what she did her and others. Sookie urges Bill to drink from Sarah but shockingly Bill says he doesn't want to be cured.
