Home of anarchy and teen pregnancy

Warning: Spoilers
After discovering the secret Ethan returns with five o'clock shade and new outlook on things. He still struggles with some issues but soon enough his attention is shifted towards the more immediate danger, the incoming bomb threat. Unfortunately for him, the abrupt change in perspective doesn't translate well with his family.

Ethan eventually does some detective work, a reminiscence of his previous occupation. The tone swings slightly into crime thriller as he collects clues and interrogates suspects. It's rather strange seeing him change role since he was just under scrutiny just a few episodes ago. Ethan himself cannot convey the message without using coercion, the same issue Pope had. This stifled communication proves to be problematic, especially with his closest ones.

Meanwhile, Ben is given the strange and slightly uncomfortable lesson of procreating. Not sure if the subject will be on final or not, but considering the nature of their world it's not entirely implausible. I think Ben (Charlie Tahan) has the best chemistry with Shannyn Sossamon, or even Matt Dillon as the on-screen parents. His school boy subplot isn't appealing as it occasionally stumbles on teen drama cliché and he looks rather stiff for a couple last episodes.

There's a bit of development for Theresa, but it doesn't go beyond what already revealed. She's finding bits and pieces, she just can't put them put them together or simply reluctant to comprehend. Melissa Leo is remarkably versatile. She's as flexible as her character, still giving eerie vibe, though looking capable she assists his brother's goal and Ethan's investigation.

Visual reverts back to the rural town without much futuristic touch, which is nice in keeping the show's mystery tone. With good development and twist, albeit slightly far-fetched, the show escalates into the right direction.

it's like an episode of another B- TV show

i usually don't write any review but this episode motivated me to do so because the directing of this episode really sucks .. when the events are getting intense , everything is screwed from directing to acting . . as if the director was in a hurry to finish this episode. the only pros for this episode is Carla Gugino ,she did a great job, she acted very well and her scenes were the best in this episode .. it could have been a superb episode but really it was a disastrous one ,simply when the events need to rush , the scenes are very slow and when the events are getting intense and need to slow down , the scenes are very fast like it's a B- TV show .. Matt acted very bad specially at last scene
