Did The Island's culture Minister Jacob Doran shoot himself, or was he killed by someone close to him?
I thought the previous episode was excellent, this was even better, an excellent hour of drama. I am watching these episodes for the very first time, and I can see why Kris Marshall's run is classed by many as the best.
The story is really good, it focuses heavily on the mystery, there is no nonsense here, no funny walks or silly trips, just a good solid mystery. Marshall gets better and better.
A wonderful episode for Camille, one of the show's best characters, and it's because of episodes like this, lots of depth to her character, wonderfully acted. She's a complex character, we learn here a little as to why she is the way she is.
Lovely scenes between Humphrey and Camille, the duo do actually have a bit of chemistry.
No faults at all, 9/10.
