Sex & Nudity

  • There is a lot of nudity in this film (male and female, full frontal and implied) and most of it is non-sexual.
  • The following explanation contains SPOILERS!
  • The first instance is a character of Lachlan getting out of bed and standing the hallway, talking to Travis. Most of Lachlan blurred by depth-of-field, with the focus on Travis, to show the oblivious nature of the character.
  • There are brief peeks of nudity as Lachlan wanders by Travis's door later in the film.
  • About halfway through, the Travis and Caitlyn characters begin to have sex. The scene itself is fairly tame, though he does suckle at her breast twice. This is not in keeping with the non-sexual nudity in the rest of the film. The scene cuts quickly to another room just as he moves down her body and out of frame.
  • The scene to follow has all three main characters (Lachlan, Travis and Caitlyn) on the couch, only Travis in his underwear with the other two completely naked. There is a beer-hat on Lachlan's crotch as it is implied he is covering up an erection; the only real hint being his line "it's naturism etiquette" and Caitlyn's blushing reaction.
  • Act three begins at a nude swimming event. There is a lot of nudity in this scene from the cast and half a dozen extras. Though everyone is clearly naked, the majority of the scene is in tight head-and-shoulders shots with dialogue being the main focus. Extras are seen to be milling in the background of each angle and there is the occasional full-frontal of Debra, talking from the side of the pool.
  • Immediately following this is a scene with Travis and Caitlyn in the bath, as she steps out and tries off while they have a conversation.
  • Finally, in the last few minutes, Travis is locked outside nude. This scene is the first time he is shown fully naked.

Violence & Gore

Profanity

  • There is moderate coarse language throughout, especially during argument scenes.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • During his interview about becoming a flatmate, Albert references that he would be someone to "share a bong" with Lachlan, as a suggestion for why he would be a good candidate. Lachlan closes the door in his face.
  • Travis is seen sculling a glass of red wine in the lead-up to an anxiety attack.
  • Travis and Caitlyn meet while at a crowded bar.
  • Lachlan drinks beer from a beer-helmet as he watches television.
