Death & All Its Glory. ♦ 55%

Kunchako Boban again gives a wonderful performance as a committed priest, along with his co-actors who all do justice to their roles.

Vysakh has taken a topic so simple and contemporary and stylized it with action, crime, drama and romance. The plot revolves around a priest and a nun who are outcast by a town on misunderstood grounds that they were sleeping together. The villain band is responsible for everything. The story follows their life along with other supporting characters.

Basically, it talks about how a righteous man can turn into crime when circumstances work bad; how innocence is forced into notoriety and thus, crime. Every node of the film entertains and along with a beautiful narration in 2 hours, Vishudhan is a good watch.

But all the gore & death may keep you unhooked. But the deep emotions that it picks sure will put you in a different state. Although the story is little clichéd, I appreciate the effort in conveying a message and at least, not boring me.

BOTTOM LINE: Better than other recent potboilers.
