    Mark : How many patients have *recovered*, Hazel?

    Hazel : There's a chance that none of you are infected.

    Sally : And a chance that we are?

    Mark : So this virus, what does it do?

    Hazel : The rate of progression varies, but in most cases we've seen, it... begins in the throat, it becomes difficult to breathe and to speak. The next stage is rapid macular degeneration.

    Aiden : That means we all go blind!

    Hazel : Finally, the vital organs shut down one by one. It can be very fast, but it's never painless.
