- Castaways scale new heights as they battle for a guaranteed spot in the final four. Meanwhile, friends become enemies when one castaway overhears plans for her eviction, and Tony comes up with a strategy for his special Immunity idol.
- Previously on 'Survivor': Over the course of the game, Tony has caught several breaks and now possesses two immunity idols, including the "special" one that he can play after the votes are cast. Spencer has been struggling just to stay alive, and even wasted an idol by playing it when he didn't need to. Things started to turn around for Spencer, and he made a pact with Woo and Kass, but Kass thought she'd be better off keeping Tony around and voted off Tasha.
Back at camp: Spencer, sitting next to Tony, very openly asks Woo and Kass why they backed out of their "final three deal." Tony tells Spencer they were "toying" with him. Kass tells us she realized how many enemies Tony has made and decided she could beat him. Spencer tells us he's probably next to go because everyone is too afraid to stand up to Tony, but his only hope in the game is the fact that everyone knows "so little" about how to play it.
Woo and Tony, the next morning, talk about the final three and Woo decides to tell Tony "what went down" at the reward with him and Kass. He tells him Spencer was going to vote for him, and that Kass was in on the deal. Tony tells Woo that he's proving his loyalty, but tells us that Woo is a stand-up guy and it's going to make him feel bad about blindsiding Woo. He says taking him to the end would be "stupid."
Reward challenge: The players will have to run and dive into a pit of mud, then race back and scrape the mud off themselves into a bucket. The player with the most mud in his or her bucket at the end of 10 minutes wins reward -- pizza delivered to camp.
Tony's bucket, when it's all done, is overflowing with mud. The players all agree there isn't even a need to way the buckets. Tony wins and gets to pick one person to eat with him. He picks Trish.
Back at camp: Kass says she's glad Tony picked Trish, because it solidifies how locked the two of them are. Spencer also says the pizza reward is a metaphor, as Tony is sharing with Trish the meal he's being delivered on a silver platter.
Tony and Trish eat pizza, with Trish worried that Tony is scarfing it down so quickly he's going to make himself sick. They talk strategy and Tony tells her he has both a regular idol and the special one, but he says the special one can be played when it's down to four players -- which is not true.
Later, Tony talks to Kass and tells her that Woo "told me everything" but he's not holding it against her. Kass is annoyed, telling us she's been "forgiven by the mafia boss," but she's going to make some chaos to show people that Tony is a bully.
She immediately goes back to the camp and asks Woo about why he told Tony their plan with Spencer. Woo denies he said anything, and Kass tells Tony -- in front of Woo -- that Woo is denying what Tony said Woo told him. Tony gets upset that Kass is spreading something he told her "in secrecy," and tells her she's "sealed [her] fate."
Kass tells Tony that her chaos was strategic. Tony leaves and Kass starts telling Woo he needed to know what Tony was up to, and Woo says he's starting to realize that Tony is likely planning to blindside him. Spencer suggests to Kass that if she wants to make sure she gets to the final three, she needs to get Trish out. "Take out one of his options for a goat," she says, which Trish overhears. Now Trish is upset, saying that she's been "trying to be nice" to Kass and it's been exhausting. She says Kass will be sorry she said that.
Immunity challenge: The players will race to untangle a braided rope to release a key, then unlock ladder runs to build a ladder, then use planks to build a staircase. At the top, they'll have to solve a "Survivor" sliding puzzle.
Tony gets out to an early lead, followed by Trish and Kass. Spencer finally gets his done, and Woo trails. Spencer starts to catch up on the ladder-building portion, but Tony still maintains his lead. Spencer gets his ladder done second, but Tony still has a lead.
Tony has a big lead and frantically slides pieces, clearly having no idea how to solve a slide puzzle. Spencer flies through the puzzle and wins immunity. Tony says the vote is going to be very hard.
Back at camp: Tony admits he could've had an hour to spend on the puzzle and wouldn't have been able to solve it.
Trish confront Kass, asking if she thinks she's "stupid." Trish goes off on Kass for being "vicious and cruel." Tony takes Trish for a walk, and Woo follows. Tony scrambles and tries to assure Woo that he's with him. But Woo tells us he's not sure he can trust Tony. He tells us he's thinking it might be time "to make that big move."
Later, Woo tells Kass he's decided he's going to vote out Trish. Woo tells Spencer, too, that he's set on opting out Trish. He shakes hands with Spencer and Kass, but Tony is watching the whole exchange. Tony immediately goes and pulls Woo aside and tries to assure him that they're solid.
Tribal Council: Kass tells Jeff about Trish's "wild, skeleton, blue-eyed banshee" tirade that was "showing me her capacity for hatred." Trish says that Kass likes to be an agitator who then plays the victim. Spencer says "things were pretty crazy" and his immunity win sped up the process of the quartet turning on each other. Woo says the foursome is breaking up and says Kass has put herself in a "very vulnerable position."
Kass says Tony was "caught" tell both her and Woo that they're final three. Tony starts going off, telling Jeff how Kass was going around telling Woo things he'd told her in secret, and doing an impression of a llama he'd done earlier, in response to Kass calling him an animal. Woo says he feels like he's been cast on a TV show family, where Tony is dad, Trish is mom, Kass is the sister, Spencer is the son and he's "like, the foreign exchange student" who is shocked at all their craziness and wants to tell them all to shut up.
Tony guarantees that he won't go home by pulling out not just one idol, but also the special one.
The vote: Spencer writes down Trish's name. Trish writes down Kass' name, saying she suggests "a book on self-awareness, it would be helpful for you in the future."
Jeff asks for any hidden idols that anyone wants to play, and Tony gets up and hands him the regular one, saying he has no use for it, so "it stays on the island."
Jeff reads the vote: Trish, Kass, Trish, and the 13th person voted out is Trish.
Tony is stunned. Trish turns around and says, "Good luck." Kass flips her off and the jury sees it.
Trish's last words: "I might be too nice to play this game, although from Kass' perspective I might be mean and hatred. But it's very stressful to feel like you have to back stab. I'm very fortunate for what I have and I'm very much looking forward to getting back to it. Peanut M&M's, anyone? I am so freakin' hungry!"
