Season 2 Episode 2: Man vs Amazon
The Amazon is the setting for the second episode from season two and right from the start we learn that one person quit on the boat ride in. From here we meet a stay at home mom, E.J., and war vet Tyler. The two of them head into the jungles but don't last very long so season one contestants E.J. and Laura are called in to see if they can fair any better.
None of the locations on this series are going to be easy but I will openly admit that the Amazon is the one place I wouldn't want to be and I personally don't blame whoever it was who quit before they even tried. This here is certainly one of the best episodes up to this point because the first two people are interesting today and make for some nice drama. Things get even better once we get E.J. and Laura since we're already used to them and know what they're able to endure. The location is obviously wonder and leads to all sorts of great drama and situations.
