The opening scene (the parody of Halloween (1978)) was filmed in a private residence only ¼ mile (½Km) from Marty McFly's house from Back to the Future (1985).
[33:45]When the twin girls (Brinke Stevens in both roles) are inviting Otto to come play with them (a reference to The Shining (1980)) during the brief shot of them dead, "Santa Was Here" is written in blood on the wall. This is presumably a reference to Caesar and Otto's Deadly Xmas (2012).
Mike Johansen(Dr. Pheel) plays a murder victim in this film. In Maneater (2015)(#2.6) he plays a homicide detective.
Dr Pheel (Mike Johansen) dies in this movie and also in Caesar and Otto's Deadly Xmas (2012). This is somewhat ironic and unusual, because in slasher movies, it's usually the villain (eg. Jason Voorhees & Freddie Krueger) who dies in a movie and returns alive in the next. He is also the only character to die more than one Caesar & Otto movie.
