I love this show but I felt so bad for the boyfriend in this episode. He was wonderful and patient. The girlfriend was mean to him, and unappreciative. I wish he would see my comment!! He is better off with someone else. Good that they broke up although I'm sure it was hurtful for him.

Entertaining but should be more educational

I base this review on the first story from the first episode, so there is the caveat that the series may have gone in a different direction after this.

The episode presented a dramatic and interesting story solving the problem of an aggressive dog. Giving the show 3 stars isn't about the entertainment factor.

My concerns are: 1. There was very little explanation of what the family was doing wrong that led to such severe behavioral problems. What went wrong with the three trainers that couldn't solve the problem? Nothing. 2. The only solution presented was a trip to Cesar's million dollar dog paradise ranch.

This made for good drama (Cesar rides in to the rescue!) but there is a need to better balance storytelling with education. How do owners whose dogs can't go to the magic ranch deal with problems?

Same old, same old.

Let me preface this review by saying I absolutely love Cesar, he has a fantastic knowledge and skill, and gives great insight..... HOWEVER.... it's all become very 'samey'. Aggressive crazy unruly dog is totally out of control, all because the owners haven't got a clue what they are doing, and the problem is ALWAYS the owner 1) Not being firm & assertive enough, babying & spoiling the dog... 2) Not giving the dog enough exercise and/or training.... 3) Not socialising the dog correctly..... Every episode is a different dog with similar issues, and the 'fault' and 'solution' always pretty much the same.
