- TriviaAt the New York Comic Con, the cast (and crew) were quoted as saying that this episode, "the one with the fairy tales was their favorite episode" to make in the first season. And their "second favorite was the Christmas episode".
- GoofsJenkins suggests they do an autopsy on the wolf. An autopsy is a dissection of a (dead) human body for analytical purposes; dissecting an animal body that isn't human is a necropsy.
- Quotes
Jenkins: Just out of curiosity, what roles are you playing?
Eve Baird: Well, I'm pretty sure Stone's The Huntsman.
Jake Stone: And Cassandra is Prince Charming.
Cassandra Cillian: Weirdly.
Jake Stone: And Baird is a Princess.
Eve Baird: Pffft! A princess?
[high-pitched laugh]
Eve Baird: It's happening.

In case of doubt, fairy tales
Surprisingly, after a shaky start, "The Librarians" has found its ground pretty fast. Episode 6, "The Librarians: And the Fables of Doom" is the best episode so far in this very young show.
An accident on a bridge calls the attention of the librarians, who go to the place of the accident to discover that a lot of strange things seem to be happening. And they seem to be related to classical fairy tales...
The episode is one centered on a classical on fantasy shows: fairy tales. And it does a great job, with a very funny and charming episode. It is pretty early on "The Librarians" life, but the dynamics between the characters have been clearly established, and the acting and direction are fresh and with lots of energy. Ezekiel Jones, for example, who started as a character who was a little bit annoying, is being played with more and more confidence by John Harlan Kim. Making the character's moral compass always pointing towards own-benefit makes for some very funny moments. But it is not only Jones, but all the characters who have their own chance to shine.
"The Librarians" may not be a great show, but for now, it is pretty fun.
