Enjoyable battle of good vs evil
phd_travel12 September 2023
This series is very enjoyable and well written with lots of excitement and feel good moments. Things come together well. Each character is well used and the actors and actresses are all well cast and perfect for their roles. The theme here is good vs evil battle and doing the right thing is better than doing the wrong thing. It doesn't get preachy though because things are handled with comedy and cleverness. The show starts off with an innocent poor thug as they call him getting used by a rich family because his heart matches as a donor for their son. As they try to bring him down and use him his way of getting out of things is fun to watch. This is the first half. The second half becomes like a revenge drama but still with comic elements and lots of excitement. Usually corporate battles are boring but here things are clearly explained and deftly handled so it isn't confusing. You won't feel bored watching this show and each episode begs the next. The cast is perfect. The actresses are well chosen. Kang Ji Hwan is enthusiastic in the role showing spunk and he is so convincing as a gangster guy with a good heart. The villain played by Daniel Choi is convincingly menacing with his slimy smiles. Lee Da Hee is quite unrecognizable from her later shows. Very pretty and the light hair suits her. Jung So Min is adorable and cute. Her role could have been bigger. Lots of familiar supporting cast members.

Highly recommended.
