The Captain Cook arrival at Hawaii re-enactment reveals why things didn't go well. It makes one wonder if the behaviour and attitude shown was typical of Cook in his explorations and the British in general.

The heroics of Daniel Inouye fighting in Italy show the disparaging way Americans treated Japanese born in the USA. Despite such ill treatment the Japanese Americans make sacrifices to become the most decorated unit (442) in the war.

The third part covers the sailing attempt of surfer Eddie Aiku to Tahati from Hawaii. They named the first surfing competition after him.

The re-enactments are well illustrated with humour and accuracy. It is amazing how the actors get the drunk's narrative to match up with the story - a challenge they seem to relish.
