The way this story is told is not always in sequence, but it's been promised that the pieces are interlocking and will come together and make more sense with time. You can already see a few character story threads weaving together, but we're ONLY 6 episodes in when I am writing this review. And I'm loving all those 6 episodes.
This is currently the best content on YouTube, period. I have never seen a story unfold in such an unconventional but yet gripping ('cause you just wanna know what it all means) way, the cinematography is amazing, and my god, the visual effects are out of this world, especially for a web series. The worldbuilding details are also quite phenomeneal. You want to know what people are doing behind all the windows of the dilapidated buildings of the city Shade, as well as its more sleek huge modern blocks. I really hope some producer or company decides to sponsor the whole thing so we can have more episodes more frequently. It certainly deserves way more views than it already has, so go check it out guys! It's great for people who love dystopian (though it's kind of different dystopia, not like most of the clichéd dystopian novels making the rounds in recent years), cyberpunk, science fiction, and character archetypes and well-known motiffs flipped on their head.
I can't wait to see where the story goes next. See what happens when Carmen and General Fender meet with Sterling at that restaurant. See what the Cure is. See if Gage Mann is still alive or what happened to him. And to see what happened between that Les guy and Axle! More, more, more, need my DYNAMO fix :D
