This is better to see it in conjunction with the previous episode (as I did). It should be a double episode...
I liked Benched far better than Bad judge (now canceled) but after seeing all the episodes this 2 series are not so far apart. Benched had its lows, mid-season and my interest was diminished.
This season's finale was better though. It was funny (watch the encounters with a desk clerk!) but also had a deeper emotional meaning and makes you care a little bit more about the characters especially Phil Quinlan (Jay Harrington's character).
Still don't know if the series is renewed but makes a good (emotional) cliffhanger and a reason to check out next season too.
