"Because you're not her"

Warning: Spoilers
We get to know a little bit more about Meg Rayburn and her importance in the chain of events.

Meg is responsible for taking care of the legal business of her father, she had a say in the decision of taking Danny out of the family's will and that eventually backfired on her since Robert had a stroke.

Danny explores his sister's affair out of her 5-year long relationship to keep his name on the will and her support on his quest to gain his spot on the family again

We find out that there was another Rayburn, Sarah Rayburn, until this point is unknown what happened to her, but it looks like Meg was jealous of her because she didn't get the same attention as her sister did, that probably started every flash-forward we've been seeing since the beginning, and I can't wait to find out what lead to all of this.

Good character development on this episode, but not as strong as the first two.

Makes it Tempting to Quit

Warning: Spoilers
I started "Bloodline" with a friend telling me that I had to get to Part 4 for it to get addicting. And that's fair. Every TV show has the episode you need to get to to start really enjoying it. Breaking Bad's is "Crazy Handful of Nothing." Mad Men's is "The Hobo Code." But one thing's for sure: if I didn't know that Part 4 was one episode away, I would've quit in the middle of this episode.

This is the worst episode so far. Most definitely. It's 3 points worse than Part 2, and legions worse than Part 1. As usual, the writers do one thing extremely well: end the episode. Ending an episode brilliantly is a special skill, and while John's constant narration still seems overdone, it makes the endings make up for the mind- numbing boringness of the episode. Almost.

From a purely emotionless, critical standpoint, only factoring in realism, acting, writing, and directing, this episode would've been rated higher by me, but just as I took those things into consideration, a drama still needs to be interesting to be good. It's one of the criteria. And this episode is not that.

Again, if Part 4 wasn't right around the corner, I wouldn't have made it through those grueling 45 minutes.
