The appearance of Madame Kali's witches restart the action in this episode after some dragging out of the storyline this season. Helen McCrory (RIP) makes a mistake in her lines when she mentions the relics in the room by mispronouncing Memento Mori as "momento mori". For some reason, that was kind of jarring for that scene, making the character seem ignorant.
Still, the witches are scary and the scenery in and around Madame's mansion is very well done. On another plane, the Creature's latest situation isn't very interesting to me. He is having to take another menial job while waiting for his bride to be brought to life. That's sort of ho-hum, IMO.
As usual, the settings are good and if Victorian era London is your thing, you'll like this latest stage of the storytelling. One thing I liked was the wax effigy of Queen Victoria, which was just like the portrait used on the coins of that stage of the Victorian era, called the "Jubilee Head" coin portrait.
