King Friday XIII: About what were we speaking, Niece Aberlin?
Lady Aberlin: We were speaking about invisible things, Uncle Friday.
King Friday XIII: Oh yes, invisible means not seen.
Lady Aberlin: Sort of like a secret.
King Friday XIII: Exactly. Well, I happen to have an invisible announcement.
Lady Aberlin: You do? Where is it?
King Friday XIII: Uh, kindly ask for a fanfare.
Lady Aberlin: Fanfare for the king, please.
[a fanfare plays, followed by 10 seconds of silence]
Lady Aberlin: [stares at King Friday] Well?
King Friday XIII: I have made my announcement.
Lady Aberlin: I didn't hear anything.
King Friday XIII: My announcement is not only invisible, it is inaudible.
Lady Aberlin: Inaudible, too?
King Friday XIII: Not heard.
Lady Aberlin: Well, if it's not seen and it's not heard, how do we know what your announcement is?
King Friday XIII: You may guess.
Lady Aberlin: [chuckles] But it could be almost anything.
King Friday XIII: Exactly. Kindly guess.
Lady Aberlin: Oh, honestly, Uncle Friday. Uh, let me see. Um, you've decided that everyone in the Neighborhood has to ride bicycles all the time.
King Friday XIII: Not correct. Guess again.
Lady Aberlin: Uh, you've decided that you're going to have a large statue of yourself placed on top of the Eiffel Tower.
King Friday XIII: Oh, that's a lovely idea, but that's not what my announcement is.
Lady Aberlin: Well, what is your announcement then.
King Friday XIII: My announcement is... a secret.
Lady Aberlin: A secret?
King Friday XIII: Exactly. And when I'm ready to tell it, I will write it so it will be visible, and I will read it aloud so it will be audible.
Lady Aberlin: And then, it won't be a secret anymore.
King Friday XIII: You are correct. It will be Queen... oh, I nearly told you.
Lady Aberlin: Something to do with Aunt Sara, I'll bet.
King Friday XIII: You'll see.
Lady Aberlin: And hear.
King Friday XIII: As time goes on.
