*full disclosure: an online screener of this film was provided by Artsploitation Films. Director: George Moïse. Writers: Michael Kopelow, Walter Moise and George Moïse. Counter Clockwise is a sci-fi film, that is set to teleport to DVD stores, this December. From director George Moïse, Counter Clockwise centrally stars and was written by Michael Kopelow. Kopelow plays Ethan, a man who has created a time travel device. And, Ethan is a man trapped by fate. Counter Clockwise plays out as a mysterious thriller. He is tasked with saving his wife, from a ruthless corporatist. Settings are re-used to keep costs down, in this indie thriller. As well, events get a bit confusing as Ethan enters the time machine for the third and fourth times. The protagonist has at least two duplicates, in one scene. "You ever do that? Visual something about the future..." Check out this trailer for a very small independent film called Counter Clockwise, an example of compelling sci-fi being made on a shoestring budget. The film is sci-fi thriller meets dark comedy about a scientist who accidentally invents time travel and is zapped six months into the future. He finds himself in a twisted time where his wife and sister are murdered and he's the main suspect. It kind of has a Brick meets Primer vibe to it, and I'm quite interested to see the entire thing. Counter Clockwise is a new time-twisting indie from director George Moïse and writer Michael Kopelow. It's about a scientist who inadvertently invents time travel and finds himself caught in a sinister time loop where a murder has occurred.
While Counter Clockwise definitely shows its budgetary constraints, it's time travel story could end up elevating it. Artsploitation Films is set to release the film on DVD on October 4th, 2016.

Counter Clockwise is a new film from director George Moïse and writer Michael Kopelow. The film is a blend of horror, comedy and science fiction as one scientists becomes involved in a murder mystery. That murder might have been caused by his past self.
