More Trubel Than It's Worth

Warning: Spoilers
Between Juliette and her request to Monroe and Rosalee to stop searching for a cure for Nick and Trubel's inept stalking of the episode's bad guy, Octopus Head did nothing but raise my anxiety level.

  • Trubel, who had potential before this particular episode, has now proven herself to just be stupid. There's a difference between naivety and cockiness that comes from being young and just plain idiocy. She would have looked less stupid if she just tapped the guy on the shoulder and demanded to know where he was going. I mean, really with the "sneaking around" right outside a house full of open windows? What's next, pressing her face against the glass to see inside? Oh, great. That's exactly what she just did. Please get rid of this girl. You don't have to kill her, just send her to Grimm elsewhere. Like Timbuktu.

  • Thank goodness Portland is so small it only took Hank and Nick 37 seconds to get back to Trubel to save her. Yay. Praise be.

  • Juliette. Don't you think Nick should be the one to ask Monroe and Rosalee to stop looking for a cure? Ya know, since it's his problem and all? I'm glad they didn't listen to her. I can't see Juliette hanging around much longer, she really serves zero purpose other than to annoy the audience. And by audience, I mean me.

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST TELL WU ALREADY! Every other character on the show knows who he is, along with a couple of neighbors and the paperboy. And the local butcher and the guys that cut their lawn. It's not a secret. Just freaking tell him. I personally think it was cruel to let him sit in a mental ward thinking he's crazy instead of telling him monsters exist. If Wu ever does find out they're real, I don't think he's going to be very happy with Hank and Nick. I don't blame him one bit.

  • Adalind gets a free pass for her treachery. I suspect most mothers would stop at nothing to get back their children either. It was a tragic mistake on the part of Renard and crew to assume that Adalind wouldn't do whatever it took to get Diana back. They know she's a schemer and a liar and that she has a relationship with the Royal family.

  • I really wish Kelly Burkhardt would become a series regular. She's fantastic and I miss her already.

  • Ooh, yet another connection between Adalind and Nick. Just set them up together already, I feel like this storyline is just begging to happen. Adalind is probably pregnant from that one time they slept together. I don't know what this means for Juliette, I can't imagine that she'd stick around for much longer. Surely they won't kill her off, even though I probably wouldn't be too sad about it if they did.

Nick must become a Grimm again, because when was the last time a crime was committed by someone not wesen? He doesn't have any special powers other than the occasional super hearing but at least he can identify the bad guy because of the animal which is cool and stuff. I just hope Trubel is not going to be a series regular, I don't know if my nerves can handle it.
