Maybe best episode of television

More cinematic than TV, so beautifully shot. Surreal and crushing at same time.

So much about life, choices, regret, and hopes for a better world. It is that place we go in grief and regret when the pain is unbearable. Just got some friends into watching the show, and eagerly waiting to share this gem with them. It is one of those unforgettable episodes that not only touches, but changes you. In a way it is spoiling and in others the most perfect and defining of the 38. Banshee will always be one of the top shows I have seen and while full of moments, this is the pinnacle episode.

They followed Hoods decision not to take the shot last episode with... Wait for it...

Warning: Spoilers
Hood doesn't take the shot again! Has his guy dead to rights, gun in the face, and doesn't shoot.

Furthermore, and increasing so, it's getting on my nerves how unaffected significant characters are by severe/fatal injuries. When Clay takes an axe to his lungs as well as his spine in season, and still wins his fight, all of my suspension of disbelief went out the window and I almost stopped watching the show, but the story was still intriguing so I moved on and chose to ignore it. Fast forward back to Chayton. No way in hell does he run on that leg, let alone go picking people up and tossing them them around. But at some point the significant characters all became super heroes with no explanation, because everyone else seems to die from a regular amount of blood loss.
