It was highly entertaining on the first watch, and I felt as stressed and involved during the second watch! In the last three episodes of Book Three, we probably get to see the best bending fights of Avatar the last airbender (ATLA) and Legend of Korra (LOK) combined. Everything is almost perfect, the writing, pacing, music and especially the animation: the sets are amazing (I am in love with this Northern air temple) plus the fights which still feel entertaining and innovative. I am so glad that I did not give up on this series after the let down of Book Two! The writers are back to the bending we were used to in ATLA, less of spirit world and more of physical world. The vilains have a more concrete goal and they feel like a real threat. I am just happy to be able to witness this, that the creators of ATLA did not get discouraged by the critics and got the funding to keep going. Whatever the detractors of LOK say, I am really enjoying this season and I hope that you were as much entertained as I was. ATLA is still better than LOK, however this season deserves some praise and here was my modest contribution.
