Human shield or pasty in a wheelchair
***SPOILERS***We get the lowdown to this outrageous story in federal file docket #4692 from the horses mouth Federal Director Walter Greaza in how these two unscrupulous and unfeeling persons Dan Reese & Millie Wilson used a disable veteran played by Skip Homeier to get his disability checks due do wounds suffered in the Korean War. That in them using the unknowing Skip as a stooge in being a door to door salesman, using a car to do his job, and leaving the poor guy high & dry without any a s much as a dime for his services. At first feeling sorry for himself Skip is made to feel he's doing a good job by Millie but in the end it backfires on her when Skip soon realizes she as well as Reese were using him where he almost became suicidal.
It's was the Federal Agents who came on the scene when Reese and a very reluctant Millie, who finally saw the light and the wrongs in her ways, were about to, pardon the pun, skip town and leave a wheelchair bound Skip down in the dumps not in only having his disability checks, which Reese forged, taken from him but made to look liker a totally helpless and complete fool.
Were told at the end of the episode that not only did the two Reese & Millie get all that was coming to them Resse 5 and Millie-for turning evidence against Reese- less then 3 years behind bars in a federal lock-up but that Skip finally put his shattered life together. That's by getting a real job as a highway toll collector, where he doesn't have to stand on his feet all day,as well as getting married and having two kids to look after him, together with his loving wife Mildred, in his golden years.
