- Kid Math, Part 1 - Turns out there's a new kid superhero in Fair City - Kid Math! From the planet Hexagon! And because his is from another planet, he is a little... well... clueless as to how to be a superhero on the planet Earth. He doesn't really understand the whole secret identity thing, and his crime fighting methods are a bit strange. Will Kid Math accidentally let Dr. Two-Brains get away with his plan to turn the entire city into cheese, or even worse, will he reveal WordGirl's real identity? Kid Math, Part 2 - Becky Botsford (aka WordGirl) is trying to teach Rex (aka Kid Math) what it really means to be a superhero, that it is about protecting the town's citizens, not just defeating villains. And Rex's re education isn't exactly going as planned. Can WordGirl get Kid Math into fighting shape in time to stop Dr. Two-Brains from zapping the entire city with his cheese ray, or will the city she loves become Dr. Two-Brains' next snack?—Liz Breen
- Although WordGirl has much to teach newcomer "Kid Math" about being a superhero on Earth. He is definitely her equal, and not her sidekick, just as Capt. Huggyface is not a sidekick either. "Kid Math" is actually Rexagon of Hexagon from her home system. (What are the odds?! "Kid Math" knows.) Becky introduces "Rex" to her family and friends at school and he is eager, even over eager, to fight villains and protect the Earth people. They, not unexpectedly, have a few setbacks along the way. She teaches him among other things the necessity of a secret identity. Working together however they eventually thwart Dr. Two-brains's latest, and rather better-than-usual, plot against the city to turn it into cheese, of course. They could not have defeated him without working together as equals, not competitors nor as teacher and student, but as equals. "Kid Math" even comes up with a rather clever battle cry, patterned after WordGirl's "Word Up!", which is appreciated even by Dr. Two-brains against whom it is directed.
