"Secret uprising" is a documentary about an issue most people will probably not know much about. Saudi-Arabia is a country only very occasionally touched by western media at least when it comes to the common people inhabiting it.
Unnoticed by most of us, demonstrations there are reaching new levels. This documentary tries to tell the story of the protesters, what moves them to risk their lives and what they hope to achieve. The producers manage to remain rather objective, providing the views of both sides and criticising how both behave towards the other.
What remains is a quite sad picture. We see a country divided by inequality and injustice. We see protesters that behave and speak so violently that it's hard to see them building a peaceful future. And we see a government led by money and might that discriminates larger parts of its citizens. A desperate picture painted but one that should be seen.
